Lip Fillers

Lip fillers are a short treatment in which hyaluronic acid fillers are injected into the upper and/or lower lips.
Lips can be sculpted, volumized, or simply rejuvenated to look younger.

Lip Fillers

The treatment process

Lip fillers, also known as lip augmentation or lip enhancement, will improve the look of thin lips by replenishing lost volume. Our medical aesthetic specialist can inject a little quantity of filler into your upper and lower lips using hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring chemical present in the human body. You will notice plumper lips right away after these fillers are injected!

Our consultations are performed by our injecting doctor, assessing your skin, chatting through your medical history, all to ensure you are suitable and answer any questions you may have regarding the treatment.

The treatment is quick, simple, and relatively painless, with no downtime

What to expect?

The lip fillers will give your lips a fuller appearance with only one procedure!
The lip injections will add shape where it is needed and smooth out the appearance of uneven lips.
Fine lines and wrinkles around the lips will be decreased, restoring lost volume, a young look, and reversing face ageing. Fast-acting results that last between 4-6 months.

Do I need a consultation?

Yes. Lip fillers are a prescription only medicine therefore a consultation will be performed by our injecting doctor. You will have the option to start your treatment right after the consultation.

Are lip fillers safe?

Yes. Lip fillers are approved by Health Canada and our practitioners are experienced, certified and up to date with the advanced techniques so you can have a positive experience attaining the best possible results.

What are the possible side effects?

Lip fillers come with few but very minor side effects. These symptoms include bruising, soreness, and redness at the injection areas. The discomfort or tenderness usually subsides after a few days and can be treated with over-the-counter painkillers like acetaminophen.

After the treatment, you should expect some swelling in your lips. You may also see some little red marks on your lips where the needles were inserted. Another typical adverse effect is bruising around the lips, which can remain for up to a week.

How long do the lips stay swollen after filler?

Swelling should reduce after 2-3 days of your lip filler treatment and should be fully gone within 2 weeks.

Is it painful?

The treatment is relatively painless. For sensitive patients, the medical practitioner will apply numbing cream to freeze the injection areas.
